Everyone needs encouragement through life's challenging times. Hershey Free Church has ministries to help. Here are a few of our support groups.
DivorceCare is a group featuring a 13-week series of videos containing valuable information about working through separation and recovering from divorce. After viewing the video together, there is time to discuss it and share experiences with others in similar situations.
We typically hold DivorceCare sessions in the spring and fall. The spring session will meet in room 10 from 7 to 8:30 PM on Mondays beginning February 3. Workbook $16. Contact Craig Koskela (717-533-4848) for more information.
Domestic Abuse Support Group
We want to provide a safe place for women to share their stories and experience freedom and healing. This group is for any woman who has experienced some form of domestic abuse, which could be sexual, emotional or physical in their home. The women leading the group have experienced healing from their domestic abuse and want to walk alongside others in that same journey. This group will meet Tuesdays, beginning January 7 from 7 to 8:30 PM in room 10. For more information contact Deb Hinkel.
GriefShare is for men or women who have lost a loved one and would like to share issues and emotions with others experiencing grief. Each session includes a video (providing valuable teaching on topics related to death and grief) and small group discussion.
We typically hold GriefShare sessions in the spring and fall. The spring session will meet in room 601 from 6 to 7:30 PM on Mondays beginning February 3. Workbook $16. Contact Craig Koskela (717-533-4848) for more information.
