We want to be a resource for you. We know that some of these topics are difficult and could stir up thoughts or emotions. We have several professionally trained, Master’s or Doctoral Level Counselors that we can recommend. We also have a shepherding ministry which is more informal and less in-depth. Omar Zook is our Pastor for Care Ministries and he is equipped to offer you direction and guidance as to a next step in your journey. You may email him or call the church office at 717-533-4848.

Additional Opportunities

Two-Week Elective | Sundays, December 8, 15 | 9 or 10:30 AM | Room 301

As a follow-up to this sermon series, we are offering a two-week elective to offer support to people who would like more information about ways to combat anxiety and depression. The elective will be taught by an individual who has personally experienced the impact of anxiety and depression and who has also experienced healing from both. This elective is open to both men and women.

Parent Seminar | November 9 | 8:30 to 11:30 AM | Core Cafe

This seminar will be for parents of children and students in KidStep and CORE, covering the topics of anxiety, depression, disordered eating, self-harm and anger. Professional counselors and experts in these areas will share with us this morning on how to identify signs of these struggles, come along side kids who are struggling, and will host a Q&A. Save the date to join us this morning. This seminar is for parents only.

Family Forum | November 10 | 10:30 AM | Auditorium

Family Forums are held twice a year for students in 4th-8th grade and their parents to have intentional discussion time about various relevant topics. The next Family Forum will be on November 10 and will be on healthy habits and coping strategies for some of these struggles covered in our sermon series and from the previous days’ seminar.
