Baptism | February 7 and 14 | 9 AM | Room 302
Baptism represents a believer’s public confession and celebration of faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and symbolizes new life in Christ. Baptism does not mean you have everything figured out but it means you are committed to the journey of following Christ. Register for the baptism classes that are taking place on February 7 and 14 at 9 AM in Room 302. Baptism will be recorded the week of February 28 and shared with the congregation on March 14.
Membership | February 14 and 21 | 9 AM | Core Cafe
One potential Next Step you can take is with membership. A good way to think about membership is as a partnership. Partnership in the gospel, in the beliefs and values of a local body, and partnership in our mission to Live, Love, and Lead. Our next membership classes will be held on February 14 and 21 at 9 AM in the Core Cafe. Learn about who we are as a church, what we value, what it means to be a member of Hershey Free Church, and how a commitment to a local body of believers can make a difference in your Christian journey. You do not need to register to attend.
Whether this is your first Sunday, you have been with us a few months, or several years, we want you to find community and friendships. These last few months have made community look a bit different, but our values have not changed. We encourage everyone to be a part of a small group, which we call a Live/Love/Lead Group. These groups are typically 8 to 12 people who gather twice a month to encourage each other, build friendships, explore the Word of God, and do life together. Twice a year, we have a Starter Live/Love/Lead Night. At the Starter Group Night, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and try the small group experience. Our next Starter Group Night will be in the spring. Questions? Contact Deb Hinkel or Nik Schatz.
In-Person Mondays, March 5 - May 17 | Auditorium | 6:30 to 8:15 PM
Online via Zoom Thursdays, March 18 - May 20 | 7 to 8:15 PM
Alpha is a series of sessions that focuses on different questions around faith and is designed to create conversation. As a church, we know the importance of being together and building friendships. We also believe that one of the best ways you can learn about Christianity, explore some of life’s deep questions, and discover things about faith in Jesus is by being with other people asking questions. Alpha is an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your perspective in an honest and open environment. There is no cost for Alpha but we do ask that you register. If you have any questions about faith, Christianity, or just need someone to talk to before Alpha begins, contact Dave Hyatt or phone 717-533-4848.
Our Women's Ministries connect opportunities are designed to not only teach but also encourage and equip the women of our church to move out into their communities and make an impact for Christ. We want all women to know that they are a part of a community of believers. We want to walk with you, challenge you, and support you as God moves in your life and heart.
The purpose of Men’s Connect is to equip men to be Christ-centered leaders at home, work, church, and in their communities. We seek to provide ways for men to grow in their faith. We hope to encourage husbands, fathers, and sons as they walk their journey of faith.
