Sunday Connect Groups
We know that attending a new place can be intimidating, and it is our strong desire to help you form connections and relationships at Hershey Free. Our Sunday Adult Connect Groups are a great place to start. These groups are a great way to begin to get to know a smaller group of people and study God's Word together. They are based on life stages and average 15 to 30 people. The classes meet during the 9 and 10:30 AM services, so it is possible to attend a group and a worship service on Sunday morning.

Live/Love/Lead Groups
The invitation of Jesus is to become his disciple and follow his way of life. At Hershey Free Church, we define it this way: A disciple is someone who lives with Jesus, loves like Jesus, and leads others to do the same. One way we live out our value of living, loving, and leading is to encourage you to be intentional with your personal relationship with God. Because we value doing life together, we encourage you to participate in a Live/Love/Lead Group. These groups are designed so that you get to know a small group of people really well. As you learn about each other and do life together, you begin to see God at work in your lives.
Twice a year, we have a Starter Live/Love/Lead Event where you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and try the small group experience. Our next Starter Group Event will be in the fall. Questions? Contact Deb Hinkel or Nik Schatz.
Alpha is a 10-week series exploring the basics on the Christian faith in a relaxed, low-key environment. Each evening begins with dinner followed by a video series and discussion. Dinner and child care are provided. If you have any questions about faith, Christianity, or just need someone to talk to, contact Dave Hyatt via email or by phone at 717-533-4848.
Precepts | Tuesdays | 9 to 11:30 AM | Room 10
Precepts is an inductive Bible Study where members have the opportunity to fellowship and engage with one another while deepening their walk with Christ. Our study continues with the Kings and Prophets Series on Tuesdays, beginning January 24, from 9 to 11:30 AM in room 10. Questions, contact Mary Lejcar.
Women's Groups
Our Women's Ministries connect opportunities are designed to not only teach, but also encourage and equip the women of our church to move out into their communities and make an impact for Christ. We want all women to know that they are a part of a community of believers. We want to walk with you, challenge you, and support you as God moves in your life and heart.
Our church-wide study this year focuses on how we are Shaped by the Gospel as we look at the letters written by Paul in the New Testament. Through his letters, we see the challenges and questions that confronted the first generation of Christians and how Paul sought to equip others to be part of the ongoing story of the gospel. The suggested donation for the booklet is $5. No childcare available.
Women's Morning Connect | Tuesdays beginning January 10 | 9:15 to 11:30 AM | Auditorium | Contact Janice Craft or Melissa Tinsley with any questions.
Women's Evening Connect | Tuesdays beginning January 10 | 7 to 8:30 PM | Core Cafe | Contact Brenda Kephart with any questions.
You can find the audio recordings of the weekly lesson for Love This Book below.
Moms Connect | 2nd and 4th Wednesdays | 9:30 to 11:30 AM | Auditorium
Moms Connect is for moms of preschoolers to connect with other moms, share mothering ideas and suggestions, and be guided by mentor mothers’ wisdom and experience. The cost is $5. There is limited child care available for an additional fee. Contact Moms Connect leadership with any questions.
Men's Groups
The purpose of Men’s Connect is to equip men to be Christ-centered leaders at home, work, church, and in their communities. We seek to provide ways for men to grow in their faith. We hope to encourage husbands, fathers, and sons as they walk their journey of faith.
Men's Evening Connect | Wednesdays | 6:45 to 8:45 PM | Room 10
There are many things pulling for our attention. It’s hard to find time and make space for God and for Christian friendships. This is one of the reasons why Men’s Evening Connect was formed. Men of all ages can spend time together, hearing from each other, and learning what it means to be a man of God. Contact Kent Bailey with any questions.
Saturday Men's Breakfast | 2nd Saturday of the month | 8 to 9:30 AM | Core Cafe
Are you looking for a no pressure environment that includes breakfast? Every second Saturday, all men are invited to enjoy a meal, spend time in prayer, and simply be together. A $5 donation is suggested. No registration is required. The next Men's Breakfast is April 8.
