We want to be a place where you can learn about Jesus and connect with him. We want you to experience God’s love and find opportunities to share that love. And we want you to discover your gifts and be able to serve within the church and in the wider area.
We are halfway through our one-year milestone to Connect Well – Live Well. Research continues to show that people feel isolated, lonely, sad, and discouraged. Anxiety levels have increased. As we aim to build better relationships within Hershey Free Church, we are aware of the many needs all around us. Simply put, people need the hope that only Jesus can bring.
How can we make an impact? How can we make a difference? On April 5, we want to go into our communities to share the good news about Jesus with our friends and neighbors for Impact Saturday. Start praying about how God might be guiding you to do one faith-stretching activity to share Christ with someone else. Be encouraged that we can all make an impact when we step out in faith, knowing that God is with us.
Here are a few practical ideas to get you started, but you are not limited to these options.
Be creative. Be prayerful. And then, share what you did and how you saw God at work! We would love you to send a brief selfie video recapping your day. You can text it to 484-340-6865. Every step forward makes an impact and matters, no matter how big or small. Let’s collectively celebrate all the ways God moved us forward!
We hope you will join us this year as we step back in time to Egypt, exploring the life of Joseph! KREW 2025 will be held June 16-20 from 6:00-8:30 PM. There are several volunteer opportunities waiting just for you! Don't worry if you can't serve the week of KREW, we also need help before and after KREW. Check out all the options in the link below or email jbennett@hersheyfree.com to set up a time to chat.Â
CORE students are heading out on two trips this summer: Camp Orchard Hill and Hazzard, Kentucky. Both of these trips are opportunities for our students to serve others, be outside their comfort zones, and see God work in and through them. Our CORE Fundraiser is one way to help offset some of the cost for students to go on these trips. On Sunday, April 6, we will be selling homemade baked goods in the main lobby and hot dogs and hamburgers in the front parking lot. Cash or checks are the only payments accepted for these goodies, but you can also donate online to support individual students or the trip as a whole.
Fill out your connect card, join us in prayer, or give a financial gift.
